FAQS
Any questions?
The employer pays an affordable, one-time fee for every employee that enrolls. The initial test and sample kits are covered. Subsequent tests are free for the entire year, and employees can log in to their portal to order more sample collection kits at a minimal cost. The minimal cost consists of shipping and nominal restocking fee. These kits can be purchased in-bulk should the employer decide to distribute kits or store them for future use.

Users must be 18 years of age or older to qualify for testing. During registration, users will be asked a series of questions that will inform our physician whether a test is recommended. If the user meets these requirements, then they will be allowed to order a testing kit.
Results will be available within 2-3 business days after sample receipt.
Results will be delivered via email or text message. Employees may also log into their member portal to view results and suggestions.
Registrants will be asked to complete a questionnaire to determine whether they are eligible for testing. If found eligible, they will be asked to provide their name, address, and contact information for us to deliver kits and results. At the employer’s request, we will report positive results to the individual’s employer. Additionally, we are legally obligated to report all results and test information to the CDC and the state or local health department. Reports to state and local health departments should include the individual’s name, street address, phone number, and date of birth in addition to the ordering provider’s address and phone number. Reports to the state and local health departments must include the following information per CDC guidance (any information delivered to the CDC will be deidentified to protect patient privacy):

RNA is extracted from the saliva and nasal swab combination samples. Through real-time PCR, we can amplify sequences unique to Sars-CoV-2. Amplification is detected using fluorescent markers for these sequences. If viral RNA is present in the sample, the result should amplify and yield a positive result. Without viral DNA, the sample will not fluoresce and will yield a negative result.
Testing by the detection kit manufacturer confirmed that the limit of detection is 200 copies of viral RNA per mL. Clinical tests detected no false-positive or false-negative results from 30 positive and 30 negative control samples. No cross-reactivity was detected across a panel of 38 viral and bacterial RNA and DNA samples.
Absolutely. Typical flu vaccines have an efficacy of only 20-60% and the SARS-Cov-2 vaccine is no different. This means a vaccinated individual would only be 50% less likely to get COVID-19 disease. Even if the efficacy is improved, the antibody levels reduce over time and stay effective for a limited period of time. In addition, herd immunity does not stop the spread of the virus. The number of new infections per day will decline, but the substantial infectious population at that point will continue to spread the virus for a long period of time.
